Topics: Welcome Message from the Organizer: Dear Colleagues, I invite you to actively participate in a Special Issue of the journal, which will be devoted to modeling and simulations of dynamical systems of current interest. In the advancement and development of science and technology, the role of modeling and the necessary techniques and tools for their analyses and solution cannot be down played. Scientists and engineers are able to understand the underlying implications when the relationships have been appropriately described by models that help in the design and test of valuable products in a timely fashion. Additionally, they are able to solve problems quickly and easily, which helps them develop innovative solutions. We have witnessed how mathematical and statistical models have played an important role in the analysis of data from COVID-19. They are important for tracking the progress of the pandemic, for understanding its spread in the population, and perhaps most significantly for forecasting the future course of the pandemic and evaluating potential policy options. Thus, mathematical modeling has emerged as a powerful, indispensable tool for us to investigate numerous problems in scientific research, development of products, process control, as well as manufacturing. Applications are wide reaching, including the fields of seismology, climate modeling, economics, environment, material science, drug design, medical science and biology, to name only a few.
